#000
May 2020
With limited resources and experience, the very first resin bear was created as an experiment. She was dyed with eyeshadow which served remarkably well in place of a resin pigment and gold touches were added to her ears and extremities after being taken out of the mold.
#000 is labeled as such because although she is the original resin bear but was not necessarily created as a part of the resin bear series.

Brother and Sister Bears
Bear #001 (on the left) was my first commissioned bear, created for my little brother. Recently inspired by mysticism and finding his place in the universe as young adults do, he wanted a bear that showcased an infinity symbol that reflected an image of space and the universe. The infinity symbol is best viewed from above the bear, but is magnified and refracted through his head from all angles.
I liked bear #001 so much and really wanted to keep it, so bear #002 (on the right) was created immediately after to serve as the sister piece to my first galactic bear. She evokes the same image of space and has stars on her mind instead of the infinity symbol.
